Pre existing conditions for under 19 years old

Children under 19 can no longer be denied for having a pre existing condition.

The catch is that insurers do not have to have continuously open enrollment. Meaning they can say children can only apply only between Dec 1 – Dec 31 for example; unless the state has a law required specific enrollment periods.
